Set against the backdrop of Burleigh Head National Park and the glassy waters of Tallebudgera Creek, Neptune Royal Life Saving Club continues a proud tradition of keeping beachgoers safe.

Become a member today and help save lives.

Whether you’re eager to be hands on in patrol operations, providing First Aid, performing rescues, tackling the surf in the IRB or you prefer to work away behind the scenes, we have many positions available to suit all skill and fitness level.

Accessible Beaches

In partnership with Volunteering Gold Coast we are proud to assist in making Tallebudgera Creek an accessible location to be used by all. Beach wheelchairs and matting are available every day from September to May, 8am-5pm and weekends May-August. The mats are located adjacent to Lifeguard tower 17 at Tallebudgera Creek Beach and wheelchairs and equipment are stored within Nate’s Room in the lifesaving club directly above the access matting.

Training for all

Whether you would prefer to stay dry on the beach or out in the waves, we have positions and the training to suit all. With our internal trainers, you will gain nationally recognised skills and training in CPR, First Aid and Bronze Medallion, as well knowledge and practice in water safety, radio operations and Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) operations. All accreditation provided through Royal Lifesaving Society Queensland RTO:5431

Neptune Club has the most beautiful area for volunteering. Meet new friends, be safe with all activities and enjoy relaxing and swimming between the flags.”
