Water Safety Messaging

Tallebudgera Creek’s calm, inviting waters make it a favourite for swimming, paddling, and family days out — but safety should always come first.

Always swim between the red and yellow flags where lifesavers can see you, and keep a close watch on children, as tidal currents can still be strong even on calm days.

If you’re paddle boarding, kayaking, or floating, stay aware of your surroundings and give way to boats using the waterway.

Avoid swimming alone, and be mindful of changes in depth and slippery rocks near the edges.

By taking a few simple precautions, everyone can enjoy the creek safely.
